Shelf Clear ("we," "us") provides a product-research and sourcing tool for Amazon sellers. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.
Information we collect
- Account information — the email address you use to sign up and communicate with us.
- Product lookups — the ASINs, UPCs, and items you search within the app, used to return results and improve the service.
- Amazon account authorization — if you use the selling-eligibility feature, you authorize us, through Amazon's official authorization flow, to check your own listing eligibility on your behalf.
Amazon information
When you use the eligibility feature, we retrieve only whether your account is approved or restricted to list a given product. We do not access, request, or store buyer personal information, order data, or messaging. Eligibility results are shown only to you, transmitted securely, and cached only briefly to avoid redundant requests.
Third-party data sources
We use Keepa (keepa.com), a third-party provider of Amazon product and price-history data, to power product research within the app.
How we use information
To provide and operate the service, respond to you, and improve the product. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to run the service (for example, secure hosting) or as required by law.
Security
We encrypt data in transit, restrict access to authorized personnel, store credentials securely, and maintain an incident-response process. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Data retention & your choices
We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service. You may request access to, or deletion of, your data at any time by emailing matt@shelfdrop.ai. You can also revoke your Amazon authorization at any time from your Amazon account.

Shelf Clear provides product data, estimates, and forecasts to help you make sourcing decisions. All figures — including profit estimates, price forecasts, and selling-eligibility results — are informational aids, not guarantees. Market conditions, fees, and Amazon policies change, and results can differ. You are solely responsible for your own purchasing and selling decisions.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for complying with Amazon's policies and your own account's requirements.
- You will use the service only for lawful purposes and won't misuse, resell, or attempt to disrupt it.
- You are responsible for keeping your login and any connected accounts secure.
Third parties
Shelf Clear relies on third-party data and services (including Amazon and Keepa) and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. We are not responsible for their availability or accuracy.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shelf Clear is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from purchasing or selling decisions made using the service.
Changes
We may update the service or these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
